Accelerator Centre announces 10 startups selected for Aerospace Accelerator Program
Selected startups will participate in 9 months of high-intensity programming developed alongside Region of Waterloo and NAVBLUE.
Textnow and eleven-x named among Canada’s Top Growing Companies
R+T Park tenants ranked amongst the top companies in the nation for growth.
Waterloo Region made a big splash on the 2020 list of Canada’s Top Growing Companies, with twelve local firms named to the list. The list is a national snapshot of the “boldest businesses in the country” and ranges across sectors, from fashion to finance, measuring companies that make anything from medical devices to organic pasta.
Of particular note are R+T Park tenants Textnow and eleven-x, both graduates of our globally ranked Accelerator Centre. Textnow is a leading mobile app offering affordable cellular and WiFi-enabled phone service. The company, which moved into evolv1 in 2018, is consistently ranked as one of Canada’s top technology firms and one of the fastest growing companies nationally. eleven-x is a global supplier of wireless IoT solutions, recently announced a partnership with SaskTel and the launch of a wireless smart parking monitor sensor.
