R+T Park Business Development Manager

Waterloo, Ontario, April 27th , 2016 

The David Johnston Research + Technology Park (R+T Park) University of Waterloo is pleased to announce that effective May 2nd Mike Pereira will take on the role of Business Development Manager for the park.

Over the past ten years Mike has developed expertise in marketing, communications, and partnerships, working with organizations ranging from global enterprise to tech startups and nonprofits.

Prior to joining the David Johnston Research + Technology Park at the University of Waterloo, he was with the Accelerator Centre located in the park, helping startup tech companies develop and grow. In addition to managing the R+T Park, Mike is very involved with the community, supporting the Waterloo Region Family Network, Junior Achievement, FLASH Waterloo Region, the KitchenerWaterloo Community Foundation, and other community initiatives.

The University of Waterloo and the community of 75+ companies and over 3,100 knowledge workers welcome Mike to his new role with the R+T Park.
