1st Annual R+T Park Winter Classic Hockey Game

R+T Park’s 1^st Annual Winter Classic, Wednesday, February 19^th !! Everyone is welcome to come out lunch on delectable delights available from the Gourmet Food Trucks that will be on site from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm.

PLAYERS Wanted! Start recruiting for the 1st Annual R+T Park Winter Classic hockey game!

DATE & LOCATION: The games will take place at the outdoor ice rink on Hagey Blvd between the Accelerator Building and the CORA Building (Home of AGFA, Enflick, CISCO) on Wednesday, February 19th

TIME: 11:30 am – 1:00 pm

# of TEAMS: There are a maximum of six slots available for teams, secure your spot in the schedule by emailing R+T Park Student Associate – Melissa Breckles at: mabreckl@uwaterloo.ca

FORMAT: Each team will play one game in a 3 on 3 format of 20 minutes. There is no limit to how many people you have on your team, noting only three skaters on at once. Goalies can be provided for you, if you are unable to recruit one, so don’t let that hinder fielding a team. ‘Home’ and ‘Away’ jerseys (white/dark)are recommended to reduce confusion on the ice, if you need jerseys we will be providing UW practice ones for teams during the game – just advise ahead of time.

EQUIPMENT: a helmet and hockey glovers are mandatory, elbow and shin pads are recommended. Bathrooms and showers are graciously being made available in the CORA Building for anyone requires.

FOOD: Gourmet food trucks will also be present for all the hungry players, fans and spectators. Confirmed – THE SCHMUCK TRUCK & THE COMMAND POST
